Arcadia

After the collapse of the Roman power in the west, Arcadia remained as part of the Greek-speaking Byzantine Empire, evidence of Roman occupation can be readily seen in the region today. The design for this lamp was inspired by the Roman withdrawal from the territory.

This body shape is based on the Roman numeral for 10. Handmade from boxed steel the frame has been shaped using traditional techniques, then hand painted and lacquered using a specialist high gloss wet paint.

Customers are able to select one of the paired lampshades or can elect to have a completely bespoke shade for an additional £25.00.
