10 Jan Ireland set to cut the cord!
Hannah Corcoran Design have become Ireland’s only stockist of Alexander Joseph luxury cordless lamps. The interior designer are displaying the beautiful lamps in their new design studio on Monkstown Crescent in South County Dublin.
Katie Guardianelli. Managing Director www.hannahcorcorandesign.com/ said “we came across Alexander Joseph whist visiting the Decorex trade show in London. We were blown away to see completely cordless lamps, immediately realising they meant no ugly cables dangling behind furniture or hidden under rugs. We were struck by two things, the exquisite quality, and the ability to completely customise lamps if we needed”.
Alexander Joseph www.alexanderjoseph.co.uk Managing Director, Mark Robinson commented “Hannah Corcoran Design are a perfect fit for us, they understand the importance of design and function and have an enviable attention to detail. Trade customers such as interior designers, property developers, luxury hotels and restaurants will be able to discuss requirements for commission pieces in a relaxed environment, whilst homeowners can see designs from a permanent range”.
Currently there are 55 designs in the permanent range, and some spectacular one-off pieces. Steve Burns, Technical Director at Alexander Joseph said, “we plan to have over 150 lamps in our permanent range by the end of the year”.
The cordless technology was launched last year and has quickly found favour in luxury residential projects, and with the superyacht community. Customers can expect 3-4 weeks of evening use before the lamps need recharging, making products the only viable alternative to traditional lamps with cables.
It’s time to cut the cord!
